Paul Malisewski is the author of Fakers, a book of essays, and Prayer and Parable, a collection of stories. He has published his fiction and essays in Bookforum, Harper’s, Granta, and the Paris Review, and his stories have twice received a Pushcart Prize. He lives in Washington, D.C.
