Author: Ludwig Rubiner
Ludwig Rubiner (1881 –1920) was a German Jewish poet, literary critic and essayist. He was a social revolutionary, of no political party, who campaigned passionately for peace and social justice. For a short time, Rubiner edited the expressionist journal Zeit-Echo (1918). His "Kriminalsonetten" have led to his being seen by some as a prophet of Dadaism. Sources may also identify him by his literary pseudonym as Ernst Ludwig Grombeck.
