Deirdre Day majored in Semiotics at Brown, Creative Writing at NYU and English at CUNY-Graduate Center, gradually making herself less employable at every turn. After doing a bunch of things, she moved to the Hudson Valley with dogs and cats and a big garden where she makes art, works on a long-promised book, The Book of Martyrs, and sells houses just in case the other stuff doesn’t pan out.
