Colleen Werthmann is an actor and writer. She's a founding member of the investigative theater ensemble The Civilians, and the experimental theater group Elevator Repair Service, as well as the creator of three solo shows. She's written for McSweeney's, the Oscars, Comedy Central roasts, and elsewhere. With her husband, Gardiner Comfort, she hosts the monthly show New Work, New York.
