William "Memo" Nericcio runs the Cultural Studies MA program (MALAS) at San Diego State University. His book Tex[t]-Mex: Seductive Hallucinations of the "Mexican" in America (2007) has become a traveling exhibition and would-be television show, entitled MEXTASY. William also publishes The Tex[t]-Mex Galleryblog. His latest book, Talking #BrownTV: Latinas and Latinos on the Screen, co-authored with Frederick Luis Aldama, appeared January 2020 from the Ohio State University Press.
