Vote the HILOBROW slate
By:
August 21, 2011
As previously announced in greater detail, HiLobrow urges readers to cast a vote for the panel on DIY PROMOTION which has been proposed for the 2012 SXSW Interactive Festival. Friends, yours truly has been invited to be a panelist; so lend me your thumbs-up.
The DIY PROMOTION panel is being organized by Jeff Potter (Cooking For Geeks). The panel will include Laura Fitton, CEO of the social business consultancy oneforty; and Anindita Basu Sempere (executive director of The Writing Faculty) will moderate.
I also encourage you to cast a vote for the following panels!
HILOBROW’s Peggy Nelson is a panelist on You’ve made Something Good, but is it Art?, which is organized by former HiLobrow Artist in Residence Andrew Sempere.
The New Aesthetic: Seeing Like Digital Devices is organized by HiLobrow friend James Bridle; and our friend Joanne McNeil is a panelist.
Remixing Engineering Education for Creativity is organized by HiLobrow contributor Deb Chachra
The Revolution Will Be Published is organized by HiLobrow friend Richard Eoin Nash
HiLobrow friend Carolyn Kellogg is a panelist on Self-Publishing: A Revolution for Midlist Authors?.
Act now — voting ends in just a few days.
And spread the word, too!
