The thrill of reconstructing a whole from its scattered fragments. “I’ve always liked puzzles.” But beyond that experience, a deeper question: Now that we know what it means, what do we do with that information? “What on Earth can it mean?” And also: Why was the whole torn into fragments? Our adventure of analysis was an adventure-within-an-adventure. Oftentimes, we never learn the outcome of the larger story.
