I continue to interview commercial semioticians from around the world for the MAKING SENSE series at our sister website, SEMIOVOX.

I spent part of August finishing up the first phase of a semio project for the creative team working on a forthcoming sandbox/lifesim videogame. Which involved watching a lot of gameplay videos, e.g., for PIKMIN.

The MIT Press’s RADIUM AGE series edition of Edward Shanks’ THE PEOPLE OF THE RUINS appeared in August. Here’s a screenshot from the NEW BOOKS NETWORK podcast homepage — Paul March-Russell, who wrote a new introduction for this edition, was interviewed by Miranda Melcher.
