I haven’t read every one of Margery Allingham’s Albert Campion mysteries… and sometimes I have to stifle an urge to do so. It’s OK if I don’t read them! Only a couple of them are really great — and I’ve read those already!
But then… I look at a collection of gorgeous Allingham paperbacks like this one, and imagine myself in a hammock, or on a beach — perhaps on Cape Cod, perhaps in New Hampshire or upstate New York — with nothing to do for a week or two….
