A collection of photos taken during the past month by HILOBROW’s Josh Glenn. Also see the SCREENSHOTS series; and see HILOBROW’s Instagram feed. Josh’s street-photography practice draws inspiration from Rob Walker’s THE ART OF NOTICING project.
HILOBROW friend Tom Nealon reading aloud from a work of fiction in progress. Our writing group had gathered among his rare books.
I helped organize — and volunteered during — RISD’s Unbound Art Book Fair, which happened at RISD’s Fleet Libary on April 6th. Let this shot stand for dozens that I snapped on the day.
Jeff (RISD ’24 FAV), a family friend, at work in his RISD studio. He showed me scenes from the stop-motion film he’s making. Extraordinary!
Doing some eclipse stuff with Tito, in the back yard.
My mother, painting spirals. We have been enjoying Tuesday morning art classes at the nursing home.
HILO-tastic photo from HILOBROW friend Lisa Jane Persky, who explained, “The other day, I was in NYC in a taxi — and fit just this much in the frame.” Thank you, Lisa Jane!
Work in progress.
Tito foiling lazy attempt to photograph my new kicks.
