Under the direction of HILOBROW’s Josh Glenn, the MIT Press’s Radium Age series is reissuing notable proto-sf stories from the underappreciated era between 1900–1935. This summer saw the publication of J.J. Connington’s 1923 eco-catastrophe (and proto-fascist dystopia) Nordenholt’s Million, with a new introduction by Matthew Battles and an afterword by Evan Hepler-Smith.
MIT Press tells us that Nordenholt’s Million has been entered into a Goodreads giveaway from today (November 28) through December 12. This is an opportunity for readers, librarians, reviewers, and other industry professionals to enter for a chance to win one of ten available finished copies of the book. Winners are then encouraged — though not required — to write a review.
