Beginning in March 2020, HILOBROW friend Mark Ramos Nishita (aka Money Mark) helped lift our spirits during the COVID lockdown by posting dozens of ingenious and funky “isolation jams” to his Instagram account. Isolation Jams number 37… morning musical calisthenics with my mini talkbox and Yamaha Portasound. Funny thing is @samspiegeluniverse was asking what I was up to and where I was gonna watch the Beastie Boy movie this Thursday. I sent him my post and, voilà, he put a beat under it. My first collabo #isolationjams. And, yes, Thursday on @appletv I’ll be watching the movie w popcorn and a cold one w moi cat. I’ll make a Pizza!
