Our friend Peter Bebergal’s book Too Much to Dream: A Psychedelic American Boyhood (Soft Skull Press), an autobiographical account of his youthful search for mystical experience “fueled by Silver Surfer comic books, punk and psychedelic rock ‘n’ roll, role-playing games, tarot cards, science fiction, beat poetry, and the sixties counterculture,” not to mention drugs, hits bookstores today.
