On the idle hill of summer, sleepy with the flow of streams, James Parker and Patrick Cates are taking a break.
The Sniffer, Patrick Cates’ PDF newsletter mailed (every other Thursday, usually) to those who’ve pledged at least $10 to support our serialization of James Parker’s novel, The Ballad of Cocky the Fox, will not be mailed out today; nor will HiLobrow publish our every-other-Thursday Sniffer extract, “The Cocky Companion,” today.
We’ll do the latter soon. We won’t do the former until, we think, some time in early August.
