Small Steps

Simon Sellars is a Melbourne-based writer and the publisher of the web site Ballardian. His film Landing Sites wants to remind us that we’re all playthings in a world of confounding scales. And who can resist a crusty toy astronaut? The aphoristic text is taken from the writings of architecture theorists/gurus Shusaku Arawaka and Madeline Gins, authors of the book Architectural Body, whose writings were the subject of a seminar for which Sellars made the film.
