HERMENAUTIC TAROT (75)

One in a series of 24 posts completing the HERMENAUTIC TAROT. The first 54 installments were published in late 2015 and early 2016; a proper tarot deck contains 78 cards.

THE FLOCK

The FLOCK, as in “let’s make like shepherds and get the flock out of here,” is also known as the HERD, the HORDE, the CLUMP, and the SEWING CIRCLE. The gang boss, usually referred to as “Marlon Blando,” rises to the top of the heap by way of the bottom-feeder, both preened and enabled by the FLOCK to keep things good and dumbed down. The flock “communicate” in same-speak which rings hollow as it should. The FLOCK is much like a balm, as Ken and Barbie’s belt-sanded pissing and shitting parts are. In times of bitter cold, the FLOCK can big-time heat up a space with all the breaths of their spiels… think of a warm blankie stuffed in your mouf.

REVERSED: The FLOCK is a shield of others, like jumping into a huge pile of dirty chonies to disguise one’s own odor, to “get real gone” and become an integral part of the slurry by becoming more blurry.
