UNBORED — HARVARD SQUARE
By: Joshua Glenn | Categories: Kudos

Tonight!

HiLobrow’s Joshua Glenn — joined by designer Tony Leone, and by illustrators Mister Reusch and Heather Kasunick — will sign copies of UNBORED: THE ESSENTIAL FIELD GUIDE TO SERIOUS FUN (co-authored/edited by Joshua Glenn and Elizabeth Foy Larsen) at Cambridge’s Harvard Book Store.

UNBORED, which provides over 300 pages of activity ideas for kid — including science experiments, crafts and upcycling, board game hacking, code-cracking, geocaching, skateboard repair, and yarn bombing – is a pick on dozens of holiday gift book lists, including: Amazon’s Kids & Teens Holiday Gift Books list, WIRED‘s GEEKDAD HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE, Sports Illustrated Kids “Gotta Get It Guide,” the BOING BOING Gift Guide, POP CANDY’s Holiday Gift Guide, Momfilter’s GIFTS WE LOVE list, and Publishers Weekly‘s DIY CRAFTS BOOKS 2012 round-up.

This is your opportunity to pick up a copy of UNBORED, and have it personalized — with signatures and drawings — by its creators. It’s a kid-friendly event — we’ll talk very briefly about the book (no long readings) and demonstrate an activity or two. Bring the whole family!

Location: Harvard Book Store, 1256 Mass Ave., Cambridge.
