I’d planned to scan just the red gradient effect in the background, but suddenly it turned into a Frank Kozik poster. In Kozik’s version, the girls would be petting some horrific monster. In the original, from Polly: The Girls’ Fun and Fashion Magazine (v4, #43, 1949), they’re showing us how to cook “a light stew.”
