Feral in a Can

You want to take a walk on the wild side? Yes, yes, but the important question is: what will you wear?

Spanish designer Manuel Torres, in collaboration with scientists from the Imperial College in London, have come up with your answer: spray-on clothes! Now before you becoming-animal types dismiss this out-of-hand as too cyborgian, check out these edges.

Positively rhizomatic. The spray highlights every hair and wrinkle, and feathers out along your edges like a root system, a slime mold (a dry one), fur. Says the designer, “it goes with your jeans. And your shoes!”

Air-brushing models to imperfection. Now that’s a sartorial trend we can endorse.

One additional note for the bespoke crowd, because these are all bespoke (until you peel yours off and trade with your friends — yes they can be peeled and traded): that spray goes on cold. Gentlemen and feralmen, caveat emptor.
