Over at our sister site, Significant Objects, this past week, Rob Walker and I announced a few exciting pieces of news.

* The artist Kate Bingaman-Burt, author of Obsessive Consumption, has teamed up with 20×200, Jen Bekman’s online project, which sells limited-edition highbrow art prints at lowbrow prices, in order to offer several gorgeous prints that celebrate Significant Object’s third volume of stories. Proceeds from the sale of these prints will benefit the same charity that SO v3 supports: Girls Write Now, which provides guidance, support, and opportunities for New York City’s under-served or at-risk high school girls. BUY ONE NOW!

* Our friends at Electric Literature have created an iPhone-readable mini-book featuring stories by Significant Objects contributors Rick Moody, Stephen O’Connor, Jenny Offill, Marisa Silver, and Matt Sumell.

* Lydia Millet’s story collection, Love in Infant Monkeys, was one of two runners-up for this year’s Pulitzer Prize in fiction. Millet contributed excellent stories to both the first and second volumes of Significant Objects.
