When our institutions are strong, when the trains are efficient and the newspapers arrive on our doorsteps, unbiased and uncreased, our machinery works with a hum. When our institutions are weak, that hum becomes a drone.
I created these pieces as part of the Landscapes of Quarantine group show, opening March 9, 2010, at the Storefront for Art & Architecture, and running through April 17. Stop by and see all the amazing work if you’re in New York, and make sure to say hello.
